How to Apply Mineral Foundation Naturally

By Anita Grant

Loose mineral foundation uses finely milled minerals such as sericite, mica, titanium dioxide, zinc oxides and iron oxides to make skin look younger by improving its overall texture. It creates the most luminous, flawless makeup finish that doesn't look too made up.

If you're a new mineral makeup user, here's a step by step guide to help you get started with applying loose mineral foundation.

One: Apply a moisturizer on your face like Anita Grant's Japanese Camellia Kissi Oil which feels very light weight on the skin. Allow the moisturizer to be absorbed by the skin for 5 to 10 minutes before applying mineral powder foundation.

2: Moisturize your face to keep skin hydrated under loose mineral foundation. We recommend using a light weight moisturizer like Anita Grant's Organic Virgin Argan Oil and allow your skin to absorb it for about 10 minutes.

Take a small amount of this mineral powder foundation into its jar lid, dip your brush into the powder and tap excess product before applying on your face.

Step 3: Check out Anita Grant's Hello Beautiful Mineral Foundation. This foundation line offers 29 shades suitable for all women of color. You can even mix and match lighter and darker mineral foundation shades to achieve desired pigmentation.

Tap a small amount of Anita Grant's Hello Beautiful Loose Mineral Foundation to the cap of its jar.

Pick up the product from the cap using the brush and give it a good tap to remove excess minerals.

If you need more coverage, you can apply a second layer or even a third layer. Being light weight, the Hello Beautiful Mineral Powder Foundation will not look cakey or powdery even when applied with several layers.

Step 4: Apply the first thin layer of mineral powder foundation to your skin using downward buffing motions. If you prefer medium to full coverage, work on applying a second layer.

Tip 1: To see if a particular mineral powder foundation shade suits you, buff the product lightly along your jawline and wait at least 20 minutes for the color to develop along with the skin's natural oils.

1. If a mineral foundation looks too yellow or too pink on your skin, a neutral shade may be more suitable.

1.) You may use a mineral powder foundation that is one shade lighter than your skin as a concealer for blemishes and other skin imperfections. Use a damp concealer brush to pick up mineral pigments and dab into your skin's problematic areas.

You may also apply a lighter mineral powder foundation shade, below the eye area, so that it will act as an illuminator to brighten up your face.

Tip 3: Spritz on Anita Grant's Jasmine Floral Water to your face right after applying your mineral powder foundation so that your makeup will not budge throughout the day. In addition, this

Anita Grant's Virgin Mango Butter Coconut Whip face butter. Blend until a creamy consistency is achieved and apply to face just as you would with a tinted moisturizer.

Tip 4: Lightly buff areas on the face where you want to eliminate excess minerals with a brush sprayed with Anita Grant's Jasmine Floral Water. You can also use a soft tissue to blot the extra pigments out.

5. Use a lighter mineral foundation shade to conceal troubled spots, scars and blemishes.

Additionally, this will help your makeup set so it stays put all day long.

Improve the overall health of your skin and hair with nature's finest ingredients.
