A new study shows that note what you eat can double your weight loss. According to the study published in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine, Dr. Victor J. Stevens, principal investigator of Kaiser Permanente's Center for Health Research, and his team followed nearly 1,700 men and women who are overweight or obese. Participants follow a weight loss program, and asked them to record their daily food intake and the duration for which they made for the year. Participants who held a daily menu plan lost two times more weight than those who did not have. Daily menu plans have not only increased the accountability of participants but also helped to understand where the extra calories come from and what they should avoid or add to their diet.
