What is the protein diet?
The protein diet is a fast and effective weight loss solution. Initially, it was intended only for people on weight before surgery. Today, it is widely democratized. It is a low calorie diet, the principle is simple: the idea is to feed the body only in protein, very low in calories, and this massively.
When a protein diet is followed, it feeds exclusively on foods rich in natural plant or animal protein. This means that setting:
• eggs, fish, red or white meat, seafood,
• pulses, wheat, barley, rice, pasta
• dairy products,
• etc..
The protein diet is right for you?
The protein diet is suitable for almost all profiles, but it has some major cons-indications: persons subject to laboratory abnormalities, particularly minerals (potassium) should not do this diet without medical advice. Thus, the protein diet is prohibited renal, or people taking medications that may interfere with their potassium levels.
